Day 1
Arrival in Doğubayazıt
Arrive at Van, Iğdır, or Ağrı airport and transfer to your hotel in Doğubayazıt, the gateway city to Mount Ararat. Accommodation: hotel.
Day 2
Ascent to Camp 1
Drive to the trailhead and ascend to Camp 1 at about 3,300 metres. Horses transport the main luggage while the group climbs with daypacks. Accommodation: tent. Meals: breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Day 3
Acclimatization day
Make a five-hour acclimatization ascent without the main luggage, then return to Camp 1. Use the afternoon to rest and prepare for the higher camps. Accommodation: tent. Meals: breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Day 4
Ascent to Camp 2
Ascend to Camp 2 at about 4,200 metres. The tents are positioned behind a stone windbreak, and the evening is reserved for summit preparation. Accommodation: tent. Meals: breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Day 5
Summit attempt
Set out early for the summit at 5,137 metres. After reaching the summit, descend to Camp 2 and continue toward Camp 1. Accommodation: tent. Meals: breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Day 6
Descent and İshak Paşa Palace
Descend to Eli, meet the transport, and visit the historic İshak Paşa Palace before returning to Doğubayazıt. Accommodation: hotel. Meal: breakfast.
Day 7
Departure
Transfer to Van, Iğdır, or Ağrı airport for your onward journey. Meal: breakfast.
