When you open a page, our website host (Repaint) processes the technical data needed to deliver it securely, such as your IP address, the page requested, the time and your browser information. This is necessary to run the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

When you send a form we receive what you enter: name, surname, email address, phone number, country, tour, dates, number of participants, arrival and departure details, experience and equipment information, participant details including passport numbers if you choose to give them, and your message.

We use this data to answer your request, prepare an offer, organize your booking and, for Mount Ararat climbs, to apply for the required climbing permit with the competent Turkish authorities. Where needed to carry out your trip, we share the necessary details with the local services involved, such as guides, transport and accommodation. Your submission is delivered to us by email, and you receive an automatic confirmation email at the address you entered.

If you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp, we use your details to answer you. WhatsApp is operated by WhatsApp Ireland Limited; its own privacy terms apply when you use it. The WhatsApp and YouTube buttons on this site are plain links and send nothing until you click them.

If you allow statistics, we use Google Analytics 4, provided through Google Tag Manager by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. It helps us understand which pages are visited and how the site is used. Google Analytics sets the cookies _ga and _ga_E4C14CNK8R and sends usage data, such as pages viewed, device and browser information and approximate location, to Google. The homepage shows our current rating and number of reviews directly from Google (Google Maps Platform, Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) and Tripadvisor (Tripadvisor LLC, USA). When you scroll to the ratings, your browser connects to their servers, which receive your IP address, browser information and the page address, and they may set or read their own cookies. Data may be transferred to the USA. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in showing independent, up-to-date reviews (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We keep inquiry and booking data for 400 days after your request has been handled or your trip has ended, and longer only where legal retention obligations require it. The analytics cookies expire after 400 days. Your cookie choice stays stored in your browser until you change it or clear your browser data.

You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability and to withdraw consent at any time. Write to info@taftravel.com.
