The Mount Damavand is solitude and conical shape, Mount Damavand elevation is 5609.20 (five thousand six hundred nine meter and 20 centimeter) from the sea surface and it is 473 meter higher than Mount Ararat in the Turkey and 32 meter is shorter than Mount Elbrus in Russia of course, Mount Damavand elevation was registered 5671 meter in the past but the researcher team from the Iran mapping organization registered the above elevation certainly for Mount Damavand during 10 days attempt in 2007, Mount Damavand also is the highest mount in middle east and is the highest volcanic mountain in Asia, which is still semi-active.
DIFFICULTY:
Level 4: Strenuous
Damavand receives heavy snowfalls in winter because of its vicinity to the Caspian Sea. The south route is not technical and is an ideal route for ski and snowboard. Skiing on other sides is more difficult.
The 10-day ski tour in Iran with ideal altitude acclimatization on the Doberar ridge in the Alborz Mountains with 3 to 4 ski tours up to 4200 meters. The white volcanic cone Damavand (5619 m) is the main goal of our trip.

1. Day: Arrival in Tehran IKA International Airport, transfer to hotel. Check in and rest.

2. Day: Drive to Polur/Reyneh via Haraz road, optional trekking around village

3. Day: Drive to Lasem, ascending to summit Changizchal (4050 m) for acclimatization, ski down, and return to Polur/Reyneh

4. Day: Drive to Lasem, ascending to summit Doberar (4100 m) for acclimatization, ski down and return to Polur/Reyneh

5. Day: Ascending to Gol-e Zard or other optional summits in area and ski down

6. Day: Drive to GoosfandSara (South Damavand base camp) and ascending to Bargah Sevom Shelter at altitude 4250 m

7. Day: Climbing/ski-climbing to Mt. Damavand Summit, ski down to the Bargah Sevom then down to the base camp , transfer to Reyneh/Polur

National Museum
Today is a day to go through history from the 5th millennium BC to 648 AD the pre-Islam archaeological museum
covers Persia’s history to a view of Islamic works of art. We can walk to get into an old traditional café to have
lunch. Afternoon visit of National Jewelry Museum
Golestan Palace
The Golestan Palace from the Qajar period is listed on the UNESCO heritage list. Build on the leftovers of a
citadel is one of the oldest buildings in Tehran. The complex has several palaces a lovely garden. The Qajar
family was ruling Iran from 1785 to 1925.
National Jewelry Museum
The national Jewelry museum is housed in the Central Bank of Iran. Heavily guarded this impressive collection
of jewelry is unique. One of the highlights is the Crown Jewel, last used by the Shah of Iran.
Note: National Jewelry Museum is open only on Saturdays-Tuesdays from 14-16
The Grand Bazaar in Tehran is less than 200 years old, but for a much longer time on this spot trading has been
going on. In total there is more than 10 kilometer of lanes full of stores. Each part of the bazaar has its own
specialty, for example, copper, paper, gold, spices, and of course carpets.
